GOOD NEWS is the first Internet-based Catholic TV in Pakistan. Archbishop Evarist Pinto of Karachi presided over the launching event at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Internet has now become what the television used to be for people not so long ago. It is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to use modern media as a tool to connect people to their faith.
Good News TV offers bilingual programming in Urdu [National Language] and English. The network's programming focuses mainly on the areas of prayers, hymns, rosary recitations, Church news, Scripture reflections, faith testimonies, talks shows on the Catholic faith as well as a weekly message from the Archbishop. catecheses and growth in the Catholic Faith according to the Magisterium of the Church.
